I recently drew two more pictures for inclusion in the role-playing game Swords and Wizardry.
First a couple of old school pig-snout orcs. This is how they appear in the original Dungeons and Dragons mythology.
And what game is complete without a Halfling (hobbit) theif.

I submitted an illustration to Mythmere Games for http://swordsandwizardry.com/, and was told that it was accepted. I'm pretty stoked!
The illustration is supposed to harken back to the artwork from Dungeons and Dragons from the 70's and 80's. I'm working on some more drawings and having a lot of fun with it!

Lately I've taken to reading old cartoon strips from the 1930's and 1940's. From Steve Canyon, Terry and the Pirates, Tarzan, Flash Gordon, to Dick Tracy and Tin Tin.
I really like the theme of the the "average joe" hero. The rough and tumble, bare-knuckled, plain speaking hero. I've had the character of "Joe Palooka" bouncing around in my head for sometime now (I've got way too many ideas and no time to do anything with them), so I finally decided to draw him. Right know he's just a drawing, but I hope to come up with stories and images enough for a strip.
